Hello fellow trappers,

I recently bought a pot of venus fly traps from Home Depot. There are around 7 or 8 of them, but I really want one of them in a separate pot. Is there anyway I can extract one venus fly trap from the bunch and repot that one?

P.S. is it okay or healthy to glue stuff onto the plant, say, hypothetically googly eyes?

Youcan repot VFTs at any time of year, however during growth periods you may well get set back or a stall in growth, you can avoid this by repotting when the plants are dormant, if you can wait that long.
There are plenty of threads on the forum on how to do this.

Glueing things on plants isnt a great idea as it can restrict growth deforming the plant and prevent transpirition.

Cheers
