hi guys. I ordered this little fella from my friend last 4 days.
no ID, so it's quite cheap. and this is my first venus.
wanna ask about my set up. was this OK?
I use mineral water glass 330ml, mixed LFSM and small perlite.
1 -2 cm water level. Plant size: 1 inch (give or take).
sun from 2.00 - 4.30 pm (cannot do anything about it, bad house positioning).
please tell me if I need to do some improvements. thanks a lot.

I cannot see the depth of your pot? Vfts grow long roots and like a deeper container...also I am unclear about the mineral water comment.. ? :?:
You want to water your plant with distilled water or reverse osmosis water..and 2 and 1/2 hours of sunlight probably isn't going to be enough. Vfts like lots of light.
The plant looks nice.. :D

lol. I mean only the plastic glass, not using the water. XD XD the glass height was 10cm.
I am still acclimatizing it. I will put it next to my Sarracenias. my sarra got the most light, but still around 12 - 5.

I accidentally pulled a leaf last week. It survived!!!!!
But i need to water it very often. The heat was terrible, the moss was dry very fast.

Niceee. Maybe we can trade sometime :) ? Where is your growlist?

Mine just recovered from severe burn.

By the way, acclimating, not aclimatizing

Yes, I am a newbie too. The only non-newbie plant I have are Drosera Affinis and Utricularia Calycifida, but those 2 are easy to grow.

What is your method for dormancy? I'm just planning to water less and put it the "dark spot" with my utric.
