The first pitcher is forming on my N. Hamata cutting (I've had it since October, 2016), and it's an upper! Take a look:

same! You can kind of see veins if you zoom in on the top picture, they seem typical of uppers

Maybe those upper pitchers might not look like typical hamata uppers, I hope they look unique.

They feel soft and papery. Not really squishy, but not hard by any means. Kind of fragile.
