Hello! I just purchased my first VFT and am hoping to receive info on correct conditions for it to thrive. I live in Verdi, Nevada.
We have a high desert climate, and since we are just at the base of the Sierra Nevadas, we get a good amount of wind sweeping down. High temps in summer are usually in the 90's, and low temps in winter regularly are in the teens, sometimes colder. We have a fairly short growing period. Elevation is ~5000'.
