Never would've thought of that! The goal is to avoid groundhogs, etc. I'm telling you, FlytrapStore customers / Flytrap people are the BEST of the all the peoples.

While it's an interesting idea, it does nothing to keep the birds away. I've found it impossible to use Sphagnum (live or dead) in outdoor pots because its a bird magnet.

We have that issue with just 1 particular bird - a Jay that I have to chase away with a spray bottle, and it barely even phases him. He drives me nuts!

Cute idea. Just make sure to keep them well watered in the summertime.
