I got lucky and picked up these 2 typicals at Lowes yesterday. Not very typical looking. One with short cilia and very arched and one with basically no cilia.

Great finds KK! I typically don't pick up rescues from the big box stores, but if we had some like that here I would in a heartbeat.

I always look through the death dome flytraps at Walmart and Aldi to see if I can find something (a)typical. The best I found was one that had bright pink traps and cilia so I bought it but can't seem to get a repeat performance with the subsequent traps. I wonder if the flytrap farms use artificial lighting to bring out the colors before shipping them out because natural light sure doesn't do the trick for me.
