I caught my Drosera burmannii "Humpty Doo" with its flower almost wide open. Normally these open and close when your back is turned. I grabbed a quick picture. This is a hard one to photograph because it's so shiny that the reflection blows out the exposure. Ehh, a bad picture is better than no picture at all.

Good growing,
Mike

Very nice Burmannii you have there, I didn't know the flower buds grew the tentacles on them too! :o

It sure looks nice though.

That's amazing! Definitely looks sticky in the picture. Nice job, Mike!

I planted the seeds in June of 2016 in a water filled test tube. They germinated 10 days later.

I kept them outside until nighttime temps dropped below 50. I brought them in for Winter and keep them 16 inches below my Mars Hydro 300 LED lights now. When temps warm up, they'll go outside again.

I feed them ground up Bloodworms and ground up dry dog-food.

The color is quite striking, even with regular feeding.

Good growing,
Mike

Here's a second photo of the flower. I took this a little later.
