My favorite Sundew that day was a Drosera scorpioides. I was curious if it could eat a whole mosquito. It could, with no problems at all.

Good growing,
Mike

...if you're considering having the yard poop-scooped less often to attract more flies.

...if you CAN'T WAIT for the next office fruit fly infestation

...if the weather has allowed you to leave your traps outside all week and you sincerely miss them in your room when you go to bed.

But also if one of your plants naturally caught a fly for the first time ever (only been collecting since October) and you're *ridiculously* excited! :D

I've been looking too. Let me know what you find!
Have you guys looked at greenhouse megastore? They have a great selection, and they're pretty cheap too. That's where I got all of mine for this year.

So ... I actually bought fly attractant (for use in non-plant fly traps) and have been leaving it in a container close to my traps. I can't say for sure it's the cause, but I see many fed mouths this week!

Edit - just spilled a tiny bit of that stuff out of the container to let more of the smell out and got absolutely swarmed within literally 3 seconds. It's a feeding frenzy out there! $5 on Amazon, highly recommend.
