I've just got some VFT seeds, forma typica, big mouth, dentata, etc. but I don't know how the seeds have been kept. Should I do cold stratification? If so, should I keep the seeds damp or dry?

Thank you! I was just a bit confused because there are a lot of different oppinions about older seeds and stratification on the internet.

Also if the seeds are older, like a half or even one year old, stratification isn't needed?
