Sure, but a lot of CPs don't do very well in terrariums (which a bowl full of dirt+plants will be) because there's not enough drainage.

I was using something just like that and my meter said it was 20 to 30% higher inside. I kept a little gravel at the bottom so the plabt wouldn't sit in the water 24/7
