Just bought a cutting of a D. Adelae from Ebay. Coming in today and I'm very excited!

1. How tightly should I pack it with 100% LFSM?
2. Any general care tips as it relates to Adelae?

Thanks in advance

1. No need to pack it too tightly. Fill the pot and press it down gently such that there's not too much empty space between the LFS.
2. D. adelae grows best in bright light, but not direct sunlight. Relatively high humidity will keep the species looking its best. However, a lot of people go overboard trying to make it more humid and end up doing more harm than good. A daily average or around 70% or so relative humidity (the normal climate for a lot of places) is good enough for the plant. The plant is actually quite adaptable to different conditions. Keeping the plant covered in a dome can stagnate the air and cause fungal problems.

It doesn't like heat so you'll notice in the heat of the summer it'll look a little haggard. It'll perk back up when it cools down. I don't find humidity a big issue with them at all. They spread like wild fire.
