I found a few Altman typical VFT's at a grocery store late last year, they were on close out but they had a very nice trap shape, similar to a jaws or something. The photo in my avatar is of the adult plant. Anyways, I decided I liked the plant enough I did a handful of leaf pullings and have been growing them through the winter, I thought I would share what it looks like with good lighting, it's a pretty stunning plant.

Yes I love how dark the red gets, almost black on the older traps. I also like that it grows traps nearly laying on the soil and also long thin stalks on others.

Yeah I was really caught off guard by how nice these leaf pulls colored up, I am very excited to get the mother plants out of dormancy and see if they will replicate this over the summer.
