What potting media do you use? I have an oncidium and a brassia, but I feel like I'm keeping them too damp.

I use styrofoam peanuts for drainage works great for me. My medium is a mix of coir-rice hulls-perlite & or hydrocorn - a small amount of New Zealand spagnum moss-& orchid bark. I also rotate ferts each feeding.
