....but it will work. I received an unrooted
nepenthes cutting. I took a water bottle and cut off the top and bottom... I inverted the top and placed it in the bottom. I taped it together. I filled the top with LFSM and pushed a little bit through the hole to act as a wick. I filled the bottom with water just to the level of the bottle neck.. I hope that I am explaining this correctly.. Anyway I will leave it alone until the roots form on the cutting. Thanks for looking.

nepenthes aristolochioides x ventricosa... I love the aristolochioides pitchers and most hybrids show a lot of the influence of that plant...

Evapotranspiration! Youll lose less water to the atmosphere if there is less surface area on the leaf. I only know this from reading Savage Garden haha.

Yes ...The LFSM is poked down through the neck into the water in the lower part of the bottle...and wicks the water up to my cutting... So far so good...
