Hello all!

I am considering purchasing a medicinal hibiscus plant for my herb collection. I was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice for growing it? I plan to keep it in a mix of potting soil and sand to assist with drainage. I have an east-facing window that gets around 4.5 hours of direct sun each morning until the early afternoon. After that, it's bright indirect light for the rest of the day. If that causes issues with the plant, I have an LED grow bulb that I can use to supplement.

Is this a solid plan? And if I'm the only one here who's embarked on this specific endeavor... well, stay tuned for updates!

I have not grown this particular type, but I've always had better success with them outdoors.
