I know its all been done before..but I couldn't resist combining my love of hydroponic gardening and my new cp obsession... I purchased a few little .60¢ typical vft from Cook's for my experiment. I have a large air stone zip tyed to the bottom of the net pot. 4 little specimens in lfs. D.w.c. mini bubbler.

They are all alive and BIG and outgrew that container.. The trick to the bubble bucket is keeping the water level just at the bottom of your pot making the plant roots grow down to reach for the water. The air stone keeps the roots oxygenated. I will be moving them to the bog when we have the true spring temperatures. Thanks for asking...

They did fine in the bubble bucket. I moved them to a larger planter. This is an older thread. Now I am growing S.purpurea seedlings in the bucket..

wow! nice. who in the world sells flytraps for only 60 cents? that's crazy.

edit: didn't realize it was 5 years ago but expansion calculators say that's still only 0.66 cents
