Hi guys,

I ordered a jawsmiley from FTS international order as a TC tube about two months ago. It arrived in Hong Kong safe and sound (and very quickly too). In the beginning, 80% of the leaves died out and I was worried that might be the end of it :( I also ordered a DCXL which gave out no sign of stress and grew immediately after potting.

After weeks of care and observation, I found a few growth points(perhaps developing into 2-3plantlets?) from my JS which came as a great surprise. Here is a photo of its new growth.

Cant wait for it to develop into a beautiful adult!

Glad to see that it survived! Jaws Smiley is a tough plant to grow in TC for me. It always seems to die, even when contamination free. Not sure why. There must be something in the Murashige & Skoog medium that it doesn't like.

In any case, it's great that yours is growing now!
