I'm wondering where you would buy this soil? I've tried a few places but nothing available. Someone said, its similar to aquatic soil or certain types of kitty litter. But, I wanted to be sure.

I found pumice at a local landscaping supply company which sells all sorts of rock and bark products. I would treat it as a replacement for perlite, but it's much heavier.

I wanted to create a soil mix for my dewy pine. They say, perlite, pumice, peat, sand & lava rock, in equal parts, works quite well. I'll have to look for it, at a landscaping place. Thanks for the help & info. Have a wonderful day!
