here's some pics that I took today. had to bring my flytraps in due to the sub-zero temps (it got way too cold in the garage) and after some persuading my dad decided to let me put them in the big south-facing window in the basement to get some sun. last time they had sun was in October lol. I think I'm gonna just leave them there till they can go outside lol. even though there's a stove in there, it still says at about 56-58 plus they'll catch the cold draft off the glass and get sun. so here's the pics!!

the big window turned out to be an ideal spot; I can fit all my plants on the 2 levels lol. the top level has my smaller flytraps, binatas, and sarrs on there:


in this pic, from right to left: first 4 are FTS Etnas, then a Big Mouth and a seed-grown in the same cup, then a Fine Tooth x Red...

and in this one, right to left: my Maroon Monsters and their babies, Dutch Delight, BZ Razorback and a ton of divisions, Jaws, and 2 cups of WIP Slim Snappers

Last night it got down to 48 in the window!! Might have to think about using the window for dormancy next year lol...

I've used the sunny window for dormancy for 3 years straight and it seems to work perfectly. This is the first year I have sarr's and drosera (several different species each) and they seem to do just fine also. I actually haven't tried leaving my VFT's outside (it doesn't always get below freezing but the plants would definitely hard-freeze in NJ and I'm sure they'd die like that)

It might also be easier/more space efficient to buy some plastic tubs. I fit 6 foam cups or 3 inch pots each.
