Well, I've never had this happen before! These two traps on my DC XL are just over an inch long. They've been closed for about a week or two now, after catching something on their own. I've never seen traps start to crack open along the bottom like this before. Usually when they bite off more than they can chew, the whole trap just gradually turns black. Anybody else ever had this happen? It's just on my DC XL, nothing else.

I have had it happen on my DC XL and my G-14 Rosetted, not sure why it happens
