I ordered a young potted Flamming Lips which was shipped today and id like to see everyone elses flamming lips if you have one. Its a crazy colorful plant and it would be cool to see them

I never knew they got up to 2 inch traps.
it looks like a Jaws with a lot more personality

That's a pretty good description of it!
Does it get as big, and is it as vigorous? I like the "sunset" coloration and the idea of two inch traps, just wondering if that is attainable quickly. :)

For me, Flaming Lips is a very fast grower. It has the tendency to divide a lot which is really nice if you ever want to make trades with others. ;) During the winter it gets the signature colors of yellow, orange and red. Not so much in the summer, but I have to say, it grows really big! I never got a Jaws  so I can't compare them but I think it's my second favorite flytrap (next to the DC-XL)

I'd say it's slightly less large than Jaws, but not by much. And it's just as vigorous, but it tends to put more energy into dividing more than growing large.

I happen to have a spare fully Adult 'Jaws' Specimen if you have any extra 'Flaming Lips'. Image

Jaws is super lazy about dividing!

I have noticed that... it isn't the crazy divider my Maroon Monster is.
