That looks awesome and thanks for sharing these. I'm just starting to work from seeds, and it's really helpful to see other people's, with how long it took to get there.

still trying to figure out a way to feed them all efficiently w.o taking hours to hand feed.
i have a small small 'compost' in a 10gal cooler that collects gnats by the hundreds. I could figure out how to get them onto the traps . setting the plants inside the compost doesnt do much, the nats seem to be attracted to the old fruit more than the traps. its perfect for feeding sticky plants though because the flies n nats just have to bump into the dewy leaves to get stuck.

i was also thinking about putting a trash bag over the top of the cooler, shaking it till the nats fly up into the bag then putting the pot of traps in the bag with them. any suggestions?

and thanks , takes a while to space them but I like it aswell

4 weeks old....ls it time to remove the lid to the germination chamber? I only posted 1 photo but I have 12 chambers growing and some are not as far along. Will the remaining seeds still sprout with the lid off? I ask a lot of questions. Thanks in advance

I kept mine with a lid until they got their first traps. Personally, I don't think it matters if you take it off now, but you may want to wait to see if those stragglers catch up and sprout.

Feed them Wingless Fruit Flies! You can purchase a self replenishing container of them from pet stores. They are completely helpless/easy to feed to the seedlings;)

My seedlings are FTS 'Red Mix'. They're my first successful attempt at germination. They sprouted at 11 days. I think it helped to use an incubator this time around. About half of them have some color in the first forming leaves.

Two of them have brownish cotyledons that have a vein down the center.

At least I know that the light I'm using is effective enough to give them some color! I had to increase the distance a couple inches today to lower the temperature a bit. I hope I can keep it up! I would be sad to lose these guys and never get to see whether I have something really gorgeous.
