Does an invasive species is protected by law if only exists there, or in one or two countries alone and thus make it endangered, but invasive in the same time ? I got this question at night time lol.

You mean like lives only in japan and is invasive in japan but does not grow anywhere else? I wonder too. :lol:

Interesting question! I don't know of any species for which this is the case, but my guess is that if a species could be invasive, it's not likely to become endangered. However, there could be certain situations in which it might occur.

Almost endangered due to being only on one territory and not in other countries i think counts. Is like having 1000 piranha fishes. When they breed, in 1 week are invasive, but than in two months are nearly wiped out in other teritories, beside one teritory, thus making them almost extinct. For the invasive plants, making them maybe "Vulnerable species" rather than "Endangered (EN)". You could never predict a mob wiping out the plants, from the example i gave.
