Summer of 2014, here in good Ol Baltimore served all my plants well.
It wasn't an extremely hot and dry summer, as we typically have here in the Mid Atlantic.
Everything stayed rather green, even the lawn.
This year I even experimented with dehumidifier water.
I did keep a supply of distilled water on hand in the event my CP's would show some kind of stress from the dehumidifier water. But so far so good with another source of water.
All the good info and threads I have read from this site over the years, has been a big help in keeping the plants good and healthy.
Thx everyone !!!!

You thinned out those pitchers?! Wow they must be growing fast! Great looking VFTs, and that purpurea looks good!

Thanks for the replies, I really enjoy watching these guys grow during the warm weather.
I used to stress over the plants making sure I was doing everything right.
But after realizing I needed to back down some and let Mother Nature do her thing, it's makes this hobby that much more enjoyable.
I guess the most work I put into them, is replacing the soil ( repotting ) just before they come out of dormancy.
After that I use the scientific method of making sure they have enough of water by picking up the planters, ( heavy it's all good, on the lite side time to give em' water ).
I've even gotten to the point I'm giving many of my plants to close friends and family, ( along with a copy of Steve's thread,
and the fly trap care web address ).
When I repot the plants, you don't realize how many extra you wind up with. Therefore I always keep extra planters and soil on hand.
I also enjoy reading other members posts and seeing their pics as well.
I sorta been off the grid due to work, but my son makes sure the plants are looked after.
Thanks everyone.
