Was lucky enough to nab the premium size Coquillage that was in stock earlier last week and I thought I'd share some pictures.

Thanks Matt! Hopefully I have enough time to get it settled in before winter comes. Getting pretty paranoid on caring for it since last winter didn't go over so well. :( Ended up losing everything but the sundews. I'll probably go ask the other Eric for advice later. ;) Pretty confident in taking care of it in any condition that is above freezing though! Just wait til you see the Jaws you sent me.

If you need any advice for dormancy, feel free to email me or post here in the forums. As long as flytraps don't freeze and they aren't kept too wet during the winter months, they should make it through just fine! And even if they freeze temporarily, they can survive. Last winter we had all of our plants freeze solid for a couple of days! Yet all of them survived it.

As far as I'm aware, you're the first person in the US to get a Green Wizard (other than us, of course) :)
That makes it all the more special to me. :D This one will definitely never leave my sight!

Also here's that Jaws you sent me a few months ago. Image

Hey Matt I have a new cross for you! 'Grun' x 'Jaws'

I just think a solid green one would look so bad! And personally I think the red coloration distracts from the teeth...

I noticed too. Fed mine a fly and the trap was firm enough to pinch my skin. Definitely impressive!

Careful with this, they make a living off of eating plants, your VFT will be no exception. I fed mine a slug before, not even thinking, it sealed just fine. Next day I came out and checked on them, the one with a slug in it had a hole chewed out.
