You can if you want to, although the humidity that may be generated is unnessecary for the plant to thrive. You may find you get problems with mould and root rot due to drainage issues.

If you do go for it, keep an eye out for mould at any time and I would recommend glass as it will not absorb minerals should you decide to use the aquarium for anything else in the future then go back to using it for carnivorous plants. It's also easier to clean in case you get a mould problem.

The lack of airflow is also an issue. This means that the surface of the media and perhaps the plant itself or parts of it remain unnecessarily wet and fungus spores can take hold a lot easier. Outside > indoors > enclosure

Yeah like Adam said, that would be a breeding ground for fungus and mold because of the lack of airflow.
Also, VFT can adapt to lower humidity so the bowl is not nessesary.

Yeah, is it sunny and hot where you live, Cosmonaut? If so you may want to consider growing outside, its always better to go natural, y'know?
