The spider pictured above was about the size of two/three combined pinheads.

That's very impressive photo work Jason. I started getting into macro photography last year. I'll have to share some photos as well when I'm on a faster internet connection (I'm "borrowing" internet now).

I really like the shot of the Pink Venus and all of the insects. You're definitely better than I am. What kind of lighting do you use?

Jason, do you remember what millimeter lens you used for the shot of the iridescent beetle? And how many inches away the lens was from the beetle? And the f/stop? And the shutter speed? Tripod? Time of day? Flash? Astrological sign predominant in the sky at the time? :)

Curious would-be photographers would like to know. :P

Nice. Did you get your Pink Venus from Steve?

I've only had mine for a few months. It definately is a slow grower. But most certainly a beautiful one :D

Great pics of the insects too :D

Usually rain is the best "trap cleaner".

I used the following setup...

Canon Powershot S3 IS with Raynox Microscopic Lens Model M-250 around three inches from subject.

I always try and take pictures on an overcast day and have the camera on continuous shooting with tripod.
