Primuliflora is a warm-temperate ping. They are self-fertile but the flowers rarely self-pollinate; you can pollinate a plants flower with another flower from the same plant.

Check the care guides and info articles:

I had a ping from that group... Pinguicula lutea and I found it a very tricky plant to grow for me, I lost them because they were supposed to have more water - friends told me this group likes to have the soil wet... one guy on the polish forums keeps P. primuliflora with great success, they're flowering I'd ask him for the growing conditions he's got

You're right - warm temperates do require more water than most other types, I retract.

OK so here's the info I gathered... It likes high humidity, no direct sunlight, the usual room temperatures are OK, as for the soil mix - peat moss and silica sand 1:1. Water should be kept in the tray for all the time, in nature this species gets even flooded sometimes.

I hope to grow mine when I get them like this, this is P. planifolia, close relative of prim.
Pretty much what moof said.
P. primuliflora, P. planifolia, and P. ionatha are known to submerge in water during the summer. Some people do this so they don't melt in the 90F temperatures that they get. I hope to do this with my plants(when they get here) to experiment. Fun!
BTW, the other three of the Southeastern Warm-Temperate Pinguicula, aka lutea, caerula, and pumila, don't like that much water as their 3 other cousins(ionatha, primuliflora, and planifolia). All pretty nonetheless and I love them so, probably the only pings I would like to have in my collection.
P. primuliflora, ionatha, planifolia, caerula, lutea, and pumila forever! LOL.

My friend has got P.pumila and says it likes to be kept wet too! And my P.lutea died propably because the lack of water and too much heat (direct sunlight). I must say this group of pings is the most fascinating and beautiful one! These are some great plants you have in US.

Yeah, they do love their water! I meant that they don't like being up to the top with water like P. planifolia, yet still wet. :D
