Yes definitely try it! I'm glad it's getting resolved. My cyclosecta had 3 crowns and I separated them; they all took fine. Cyclosecta is a trooper under normal circumstances!

I feel your pain this new dormant little guy bit the dust on me, thankfully I've got a second that hopefully hasn't bit the dust

Tell me about it, I left it in the morning green as could be and came back to that

Sometimes they can just pop their clogs, especially if they've had a stressful shipping situation... which leads to a stressful receiving situation for us! Generally speaking, though, once they're in and settled, they're very resilient. It is disheartening when one arrives and just doesn't have the strength, though.

And Bob, your plants are absolutely lovely as always! (In reference to the photo a couple of pages back.)

I know, major light deprivation! I'm not too worried with my LED though Image

Oh yeah. Actually I wonder what conditions he's growing his plants under. They seem healthy and well-grown but not colored up very much. And they seem to be always in summer growth even now. My cyclosecta was the same when I got it, very green without a hint of purple. I know he's doing tissue culture but maybe then growing them on with 24-hour; somewhat low lighting?
