In my opinion, you got the deal of the decade with that Fused Tooth x Sawtooth plant pieguy. Some of the other named clones that have sold for much, much more aren't as impressive looking to me as that very colorful and healthy Fused Tooth x Sawtooth. Congrats to you!

Thanks Matt :) I was very surprised by the price as well, because i thought it would go for a much higher price. I have never seen a flytrap as beautiful as this one, the color is unmatched by any of my plants, and it drools on the traps. Its long teeth are menacing, and has a unique sort of green to it :) it hasnt even shown any fusing or sawtooth characteristics ( im hoping it does), and it has already become one of my favorite plants that defiantly stands out in my collection, and getting it for only 20 dollars is an unbelievably great deal, i am so very happy that i have it :D

Many of the Fused Tooth x Sawtooth seedlings that were deflasked showed some sign of fusing at that time. But as they grew under the fluorescent lights and out in the greenhouses, the fusing went away. It may show some fusing this fall or it may not. I look forward to hearing updates about the plant. If it does show some fusing and maintains that great color for you, I might as for the flower stalk next spring to tissue culture it ;)

Im hoping for some fusing, But its really cool knowing it can be anything :) maybe half of the trap will be a sawtooth and other half fused :D ive already noticed some weird looking traps on thin leaves, cant wait to see what they are when they open.
