Just doing some random searches, many people saying there is a population in Florida, does anyone have 2 cents? Love to know more!

Not native, I don't think. Flytraps are only native to the Carolinas. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they've been introduced somehow, though, they'd probably love Florida.

Come to think of it, if they're officially an introduced species in Florida, they might be legal to collect.

Definitely enough of one at least, you can grow vfts down in the keys so I don't imagine they'd have a problem in N FL among the Native Sarracenia
