Masdevallia and Coelogyne Flower Photos

Out of the relatively small number of orchids I have at the moment, I found a couple of them blooming nicely and took some photos of them. Both are more recent additions from early in the year after a trip to Orchids by Hausermann (which I hope to go to again this weekend to get more).

This one is one of my favorite plants of the bunch. It may not be the most colorful, but it is beautiful in many other ways to me. All of the flowers on this one just opened up today.

That is a really gorgeous flower! I can certainly find the beauty in the contrast of color and the, I don't know, texture of the Cologne mayeriana!

Very, very nice! The black patterning against the green has some real contrast!

Those are the same reasons I find it to be beautiful! Too bad there was not a way to post the nice scent it has as well.

Same here, they are one of my favorite when it comes to the flowers. It's rather boring when it comes to the foliage alone though.
