To my distress this morning, I woke up to find some large black spots on my nepenthes ventricosa.
I've had this little guy for about a month. It seemed to be acclimating to its new home on my kitchen counter well at first with steady new growth. It's in damp long fibered sphagnum moss and received plenty of indirect sunlight. It's never been watered with tap water, only distilled.
My cat had a go at it last week, so I had to cut one of the leaves off and move it onto my bookshelf where the cat can't reach. It gets maybe a little less light than before, but not a big change.
I'm not able to keep it as humid as I'd like, but I mist it with distilled water every day.
So what I'm trying to figure out is, what's the cause of these black spots? And what can i do to fix it?
