Is it hard to grow sarracenia from seed? I could be patient and wait months for them to germinate, but I live in zone 9 so I might have to do fridge stratification. Has anyone done fridge stratification that can give me tips?

I live in zone 9 as well. For fridge stratification; just put seeds in a Ziploc with moist long fiber sphagnum moss. You are also at the perfect climate where you can sow the seeds on the soil and leave outside over winter.

I stratify me seeds by putting them in some damp LFSM in those little sauce cups with a lid into the fridge. Cheap and stackable. I'm in zone 8B and I also just sprinkled them in my outdoor bog last fall for a natural stratification. They germinated just fine this spring.
