I was wondering if anyone has grown N. Globosa from seed. I'm considering getting some seeds but I've never grown nepenthes from seed, tips and info will be much appreciated. :)

I don't have direct answer for you. Globosa is formally known as N. mirabilis var globosa. Still widely recognized as viking. I have grown a few other species from seeds, but not this yet. The closest I have is common mirabilis. Seeds on moist, dead sphagnum moss under bright indirect sunlight should germinate in about 3 weeks.

A female plant of my globosa is just about to flower. Probably will produce species seeds to try..:)

Considering the pace this species flooded local market just within a few years, it is among easy starter plants given LL condition. I have seen very sucessful germination from local growers.
