Hi,
I haven't done this, I was not sure I could keep alive my plants but now it's been a while and I'm pretty confident about it.
Plant - (time it's been around with me)
D. Capensis typical - ( 1 year 6 months)
D. Capensis albino - (5 months)
D. Capensis red - (7 months)
D. Spatulata unknown location - (1 year 6 months)
D. Venusta unknown location - ( 1 year 3 months)
D. Broomensis (~7 months)
D. Scorpioides (~8 months)
D. Prolifera(1 year 2 months)
D. Adelae (1 year )
Lost 1 from suspected botritys infection or light burn.
D. Nidiformis - (1 month)
D. Madagascariensis - (1 month)
Cephalotus typical ( 1 year 4 months)
Nepenthes Ventrata - (1 year 5 months)
Nepenthes Reindwartiana (~8 months)
Not very happy but still green and alive.
Nepenthes Bicalcarata. (3 weeks)
Not happy, I guess it needs a bigger pot, it's media changed and a heat mat . It's my companion on my msc.
Pinguicula Moranensis x ?? (1 year)
Pinguicula Cyclosecta x ?? (~ 1 month)
Plants I have lost:
2 VFT. I gave up, can't give them dormancy and they blackened very quickly under my lights. Also I can't imagine placing them on the fridge (no judging) seems impossible to me.
1 Pinguicula Moranensis pure, from Oaxaca's volcano surroundings. Placed it directly under full sun, got burned.
1 Drosera Binata. Tried giving it dry dormancy, ended up with a dead plant -_-
1 Drosera Peltata. Same as Binata -_-
1 Drosera Tokaiensis. Unknown death, probably high ppm from the nursery I got it.
Growing soon hopefully :
D. Nitidula.
N. Ampullaria x Aristochloides.
N. Glabrata.
First time buying from California Carnivores.
I usually stick around with Droseras and Nepenthes, as my favourites next to Cephalotus and Pinguiculas.
My dream is to get one of those Heliamphoras and be able to keep it happy.
I wish I could have more variety however where I'm from a Phytosanitary certificate is required for most purchases making difficult to get them.
Greetings.
Thank you for taking a look.
