I bought some small silent crickets for my plants yesterday (VFT's had some fun)

I placed a dead cricket on the sundew so it couldnt get away lol but this morning its in the same place

I thought the plants leafs would curl up over the insect ?

I also heard that feeding your sundew with crushed up betta fish food pellets using a small pippet was good and also increase te growth rate up some ?

why not use ants that are live? aliciaes love them!

Although a different species, I feed my D. Capensis Alba blood worms. Crushed betta pellets work for sundews, as well. As for leaf curling, I believe D. Aliciae do curl their leaves over food they are going to digest, but am not 100% certain.

I also gave a D capensis blood worms along with a D adelae and they both seemed to like them.

No, they weren't dry. I just used a dropper to drop one or 2 onto the leaves

It can take a few day's to curl if there isn't alot of movement, in this case it did, but now, it'll enjoy it's meal

I feed my Sundews finely ground up tropical fish food. Just a tiny pinch sprinkled on a few leaves. Works great. Maybe once a month. If I remember.

I know for a fact, that Nepenthes likes them, as they catch hundreds in the wild.
Cephalotus has a taste for ants in particular too, i pop one or two in sometimes, and i will do every week.
