I have bought tissue cultured Nepenthes hookeriana and it seemed as there are more than one plants growing from the same plant or possibly close by. I hoped they had roots, but quickly found out they were growing from the same stem. I decided to get them apart and try to make the small plants root. I snapped off 4 small plants (two of them are tiny) without damaging the roots of the largest plant.

Well, now I have placed them in to Nepenthes substrate with a bit of additional peat (I ran out of sphagnum and perlite). I have placed them under lights where I kept them before (it seemed relatively happy). For now, I'm keeping them inside in a bag (I am keeping humidity around 60% to 75% in that room) to further increase humidity.

Do you think I can expect them to root? Can I do something to increase their chances and how much time it takes for them to form roots? Any comments are welcome. I did that for the first time. I hope they make it. :)

I can post a photo or three if you think it would help.
