Pumice perlite sand and some vermiculite. I start them in a peat pot with peat moss and perlite. They like to be kept very moist when young.

These are pound for pound the best insect catchers. I'll takes some pics tomorrow but I have overwintered this in my cool greenhouse. It's loaded with houseflies! It gets too 40F lows and I kept it well watered. I've red that keeping it dryer after flowering is the most important.

I am in the Chicagoland area and would love to grow one of these out here. I don't have a green house and I am worried that our really cold winter may kill it.
