I have been told that they are not D.linearis, but D.capensis alba. I am not convinced. Below is a D.capensis alba seedling and the other one is what I hope is D.linearis .

Saw your post on FB about this. I have to disagree with Johnny this time, I do think they are linearis. The linearis I received looked much like the tiniest ones you have (because I tried growing them outdoors during the summer, I killed all but one). The one that is left and ?alive? formed a tiny hibernaculum, so definitely not D. capensis.

Just a growth update and a comparison.. I found a photo of D linearis on line about the same size as mine. I do not see any difference. ;)

Well if these are not D.linearis they are definitely not D.capensis....No Drosera capensis plants or seeds were ever anywhere near this planting tray...but adult D. Linearis were growing in this tray that had mature seed pods.
The photo is a bird's eye view. They actually are very upright in their growth. Well we will see as they continue to grow. What am I missing, because when I compared them to the stock photo they look the same.. :?:

Just a little update.. I took the cover off the seedlings. Growing upright now... :D
