My grandmother bought me a pack that contained Venus fly traps because she knew I was interested and the first step is to freeze the seeds? I'm not really sure what to do as its rather vague on how much water to put it and I'm just confused in general. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

You never freeze the seeds!

Many temperate species are cold treated (Stratification) in the refrigerator at 34 to 40 degrees in damp conditions. This mimics Winter for the seeds.

But, Venus FlyTrap seeds do not need stratification.
Just put them on damp/moist peatmoss. Keep temperatures from 70 to 85 degrees and they should germinate in 4 - 6 weeks.
