Hello.
I want to purchase a plant from carnivora Eu and was wondering about a CITES permit. Do I need one or just a Phytosanitary Certificate? I am in Canada.

A phytosanitary certificate doubles as a CITES declaration for CITES II plants. CITES I plants require a huge mess of additional paperwork that's generally not feasible for small orders.

I don't know if Canada requires any special import permits for CITES II plants, but your department of agriculture would be a good place to start looking if nobody here knows.

What CPs are classified as "CITES I" Plants? I looked on the CITES webpage and got confused.
