Hi I love about 3 hours away from Butterfly Valley, and I still haven't been there. My question is when would be the best time to see these plants flowering in the wild.

I would love to go there as well. Its a 10 hour drive for me though. SoCal.

I would guess they would be flowering soon like sarracenia, but since I don't grow darlingtonia don't quote me on that.

Take lots of pictures if you go!

It will obviously depend on local conditions but generally April to early May. My indoor plants in the UK are sending up spikes now and the ones outside are beginning to as well, but it has been mild over here.

It's just starting to warm up in Northern California, but with the way the weather's acting; I wouldn't be surprised if we got more snow on the mountains.
