Could me in that boat. Ginormous is very susceptible to crown rot and a very slow grower in our cool Oregon climate.

What cultivar is that? I'm always skeptical at this point when someone announces a "new giant flytrap" as we've pretty much reached the maximum trap size with a variety of giant flytraps now and adding another one to the mix seems kinda silly to me at this point as all giant flytraps look more or less the same and are in line with "typical" characteristics of flytraps. That's why I've always been a fan of the unique looking oddball flytraps that are easily identified in a group even if you pulled out all of the plant stakes from the thousands of pots of flytraps we grow.
I struggle to be able to tell most of the giants apart at any given point of the year. They all look so darn similar in most ways.
