I noticed even more blackening of traps on my plants. Are they healthy?

The front two plants look a bit too covered with the LFSM. You should basically be able to see where the leaves join at the rosette, but not much deeper than that. The blackening looks like normal leaf turnover to me. In addition, it appears you have some type of weed growing near the plant in the rear, so I'd pull that out.

Outside of that, your plants look healthy to me.

Yeah, I just noticed that weed as I was posting the picture on here. It's gone now. I think it was the product of the neighbor's cherry tree seeding itself.

They look good to me. You've obviously got some blackened traps there, but I'm willing to pass it off as natural due to the health of the other traps.

It depends on if they're looking better or worse than they looked in recent weeks. A healthy VFT will usually have a lot more leaves unless it's dormant or just waking up from dormancy. If they're putting out healthy new growth and the number of traps is increasing, they're in good shape.

They don't look very well potted, as Nick mentioned. Ideally, the moss would be level and the rhizome would be even with the surface of the moss.

don't bury the darn things. the green middle portions like to be uncovered and airing out.
