There is no harm in letting them grow but it may mean that the traps dont grow quite as quickly as the plant is using its stored energy on growing the flower. The flower will eventually become seeds so if you'd like to try your hand at growing your own then letting it flower would be the right thing to do. If you'd like impressive trap size cut it off
